Responsibilities
Collaborate with faculty, staff, and subject matter experts to design and develop instructionally sound and engaging learning materials. This includes the use of a variety of content authoring tools, document creation applications, and presentation tools.
Employ advanced technologies to enhance instruction, including artificial intelligence tools for content creation and assessment. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and pedagogical trends to ensure the application of best practices in learning design.
Provide training and support to faculty and staff on the effective use of instructional technologies and best practices in digital pedagogy. Develop and maintain resources such as tutorials, templates, and tools for instructional development.
Assess the effectiveness of learning materials and technologies, implementing changes as needed to improve learner outcomes. Participate in the evaluation of training needs and the design/redesign of training programs to meet those needs.
Deep knowledge of instructional design principles, learning theories, and effective pedagogical practices for diverse learning environments.
Skilled in the use of industry-leading technologies for the development of educational content and assessments.
Expertise in learning management systems and the ability to troubleshoot technology issues.
Ability to assess the benefits and limitations of existing and emerging technologies.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, research scientists, technology specialists, and students.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment, prioritizing tasks and collaborating with team members to meet project goals.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
Three (3) years of providing learning/instructional design and/or technology development services
Preferred
Experience in Education Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field
Experience with artificial intelligence tools in an educational context
Experience working in a higher education environment
Experience in engaging, interactive learning experiences
Experience in innovation and adapt to changing technological landscapes
Ability to apply data collection and analysis skills in projects and course design
