Marketing Assistant

Responsibilities
Create student-centered content for social media campaigns.
Publish blog posts and announcements using internal client-generated content.
Produce photos and videos of events, exhibitions, and students/faculty for PR materials.
Plan and manage tabling sessions in the library and on campus.
Create displays, submit events to calendars, purchase promotional items, and manage distribution of marketing materials.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related area, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience)
One year of related experience and demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required
Experience in different styles of writing, publishing software packages and advertising concepts may be preferred
Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description
Preferred
Experience with creating content on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other short form video
Strong writing skills
Experience in event planning
