Responsibilities
Provides technical expertise to promote workplace and product safety by identifying potential hazards.
Reviews and recommends content of health and safety policies and programs.
Participates in compliance audits, risk assessments, and health and safety teams.
Inspects and audits plant operations for process safety requirements.
Conducts hazard assessments, recommends solutions, and implements them.

Required
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university with 4-8 years related experience.
Experience working in a production environment within a manufacturing, chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
Up-to-date knowledge of government regulations related to EPA, & OSHA General Industry and Process Safety Management standards, and company policies.
Experience in DNREC, EPA and other environmental reports as required by permit or regulation.
Experience conducting audits and CAPA’s related to EHS.
