Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, and repair Satellite Terminal systems.

Ensure connectivity to local and wide area networks, end-to-end telecommunications, circuit switching systems, and Long-Haul communications/Transmissions systems.

Analyze capabilities and performance, identify problems, and take corrective actions for efficient operations of SATCOM equipment.

Monitor status and performance of Transmission/Receive systems.

Respond quickly to circuit outages and coordinate with distant end facilities and local Systems/Users to restore communications services.

Possibly work 24x7 shift work as assigned based on mission requirements.

Perform other duties and assignments as required.

Required

Experience with operating, maintaining, monitoring, troubleshooting, and repair of Satellite Terminal systems
