Responsibilities
Support FEMA headquarters in developing the BRIC program and BRIC DTA initiative brands and style guides.
Assist in creating a long-term communications strategy and consistent messaging for the programs.
Collaborate with teams to effectively communicate success stories, challenges, and innovations.
Develop social media presence and strategies to showcase community stories and partnerships.
Provide media outreach and pitch support during events and campaigns.
Educate stakeholders on hazard and risk information on FEMA's behalf.

Required
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in the Federal Government Market Space.
Experience in Web communications, including experience with brand management
Must have demonstrated experience leading teams of 5-10 in creating coordinated strategic communications and outreach campaigns
Experienced with community outreach utilizing all relevant social media platforms
Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies. Experience with a variety of marketing channels, including paid advertising, public relations, and event planning.
Proficiency in Microsoft suite including PowerPoint, Sharepoint and Adobe Creative platform including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
