Responsibilities
Develop software solutions using ASP.NET Web Forms, Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Basic, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, and Microsoft Azure PaaS.
Manage and optimize SQL Server databases, and participate in migrating legacy systems to modern frameworks and technologies.
Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and enhance features, following a Job Order Contract style of management.

Required
Proficient in ASP.NET Web Forms and Microsoft SQL Server
Strong understanding of Visual Basic, with experience in transitioning to ASP.NET MVC
Experience in JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap for front-end development
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure PaaS, including deployment and management of applications on Azure
Proficient in using Bitbucket and integrating with Azure Git for version control
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, particularly with ASP.NET Web Forms
Demonstrable experience in managing and optimizing SQL Server databases
Prior involvement in migrating legacy systems to modern frameworks and technologies
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Adept at learning new evolving technologies and methodologies quickly
Acceptance of receiving scope with instructions as your direction, i.e., it is a legacy application with 90% of work being independent with low or no supervision. Efficient completion of tickets without follow on bugs is the metric of performance
We are ticket focused. This position is a Job Order Contract style of management to fix or enhance features, it is very mechanical and not new product development. Candidate should enjoy being a trouble-shooter who polishes, not a new-construction-builder
Preferred
Certifications: Microsoft certifications such as Azure Developer Associate, or other relevant credentials. We are Microsoft cloud-centric
Experience with other front-end frameworks or libraries (e.g., Angular, React)
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps
