Responsibilities

Performing maintenance, monitoring repairs, and ensuring systems are up to applicable standards

Maintaining facility services, preventative maintenance, and inventory control

Cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and changing parts of HVAC systems

Recording readings, making necessary adjustments, and ensuring proper equipment operation

Complying with safe storage and usage of hazardous materials policies

Performing periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory

Monitoring maintenance work performed by outside contractors

Accessing equipment components and working in various environmental conditions

Required

2-4 years Ability to analyze the operation of various Commercial or Industrial Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action

EPA 608 Type II Certification

Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel

High School diploma or GED equivalent
