Responsibilities

Perform repairs, PM's, and inspections on all HVAC and Refrigeration systems

Service and make minor repairs on refrigeration systems throughout the building

Perform plumbing repairs and routine repairs in the facility

Answer service calls during events and address repairs

Perform preventive maintenance on all necessary equipment

Record readings on critical equipment and maintain spare parts inventory

Be accountable for individual and team repairs

Work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Required

Must be familiar with the service and repair of complex HVAC systems similar to the FHP, Trane, Aaon and Liebert systems

Must have experience servicing systems such as Hoshizaki, Traulsen, Perlick, Bally and Viking

Must possess a FDNY C of Q Refrigeration Engineer as well as all C of F needed to perform the duties as a mechanic at MSG

Be able to be flexible when called to work in other areas of the engineering department as needed such as watch coverage, fire guard and working on other engineering projects as the operational needs dictate

Able to walk and stand during the entire shift

Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs

Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, have split days off, work weekends and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment
