Responsibilities
Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following agile software development lifecycle.
Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
Improve operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures.
Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities, maintaining personal networks.
Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
Accomplish engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Design software systems that scale to thousands of users.
Produce maintainable, testable, extensible, clean, well-documented code according to system design.
Participate in new releases for existing software products.
Develop time estimates for development tasks.
Participate in code review.
Use revision control and bug tracking systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required
Self-motivated software developer with a strong desktop applications background and/or web and mobile application development experience.
B.S in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years hands-on programming experience required.
Experience writing code for both compiled and interpreted languages.
Familiarity with both object-oriented and scripting languages.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
Detail oriented, highly organized, able to multi-task, and good interpersonal skills.
Experience working with revision control systems, build systems, and working within a team environment.
Preferred
Software packaging and deployment experience preferred.
The ideal candidate will have web application development experience in (HTML5/CSS/JavaScript), desktop application experience is a plus (C/C++/C#/Java)
