Responsibilities

Develop and deploy the Portable Emissions AcQuisition system for measuring emissions from heavy-duty vehicles running on the road.
Conceptualize emissions research topics, develop test plans, procure resources, and manage test projects.
Prepare reports, share findings with CARB and the public through presentations and technical publications, and manage and analyze large datasets using computational methods.
Work both independently and as part of a team in laboratory and field settings to achieve emissions testing objectives.

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, environmental science, or a related field
Experience managing and analyzing large datasets using computational methods
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in laboratory and field settings
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of emissions testing and research methodologies
Ability to develop test plans and manage test projects
Experience in presenting findings through reports, presentations, and peer-reviewed publications
