Responsibilities
Complete all aspects of planning process including authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines.
Manage all aspects of project including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and stakeholders.
Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements to functional groups following an integrated change management process.
Coordinate project communications ensuring team, customer, and all stakeholders are kept informed of status.
Maintain project databases, systems, and procedures for efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation.
Properly close project by archiving work and performing final project quality assessment.
Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement, lessons, and risk avoidance for future work.
Utilize interpersonal skills to cultivate positive relationships with team, customer, and stakeholders.
Identify, assess, and implement improvement opportunities which will add value.

Required
Bachelor’s degree required. Applicable disciplines are Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related technical discipline.
(A). 15+ years project management experience or (B.) 5 years project management experience and 5 years experience in technical role in nuclear or construction industry.
Familiar with the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge.
Broad technical knowledge of nuclear power plants.
Preferred
Advanced degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business preferred.
15 years project management experience in nuclear or construction industry preferred.
Familiarity with utility business practices including knowledge of utility operations, maintenance and engineering practices, knowledge of procurement processes and material management are desirable but not mandatory. For international projects, knowledge of local business practices and contracting.
