Responsibilities
Work closely with Software Engineers to understand the complex advertising ecosystem in place at DEE Technology
Develop automated test frameworks and suites on UI, API, and Integration levels of testing using Python or other OO language
Participate in design discussions for the platform to enable richer testing scenarios and simplify defect detection and prevention
Assist with triage, diagnosis, and resolution of issues discovered across teams
Contribute to end-to-end acceptance tests
Develop and execute manual test cases when necessary to detect issues that cannot be identified through automated means
Drive the conversion of manual tests to automated ones whenever possible
Focus on major areas of work, typically 20% or more of role % of Time
Technically lead and deliver multiple projects utilizing an Agile methodology while reviewing team member’s code
Own the design of software programs or systems within the team and the organization
Write codes that establish and enhance frameworks, review code for design, testability, and clear usability
Build solutions that scale and perform, identify opportunities to improve the system/product/services with each iteration

Required
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on software test development experience, including both functional and non-functional test development
Passion for driving best practices in the testing space
Proficiency with Python or other OO language
Knowledge of software engineering practices and agile approaches
Strong desire to establish and improve product quality
Experience building or improving test automation frameworks
Proficiency CI/CD integration and pipeline development in Jenkins, Spinnaker, or similar tools
Proficiency in Big Data testing
Experience in Gherkin (BDD /TDD)
Willingness to take challenges head-on while being part of a team
Python: 10 years (Required)
Selenium: 10 years (Required)
Test automation: 10 years (Required)
Preferred
Experience with RESTful API
Must have SQL - This group will be database testing and they should have query experience
Python is a MUST-HAVE. They must have a Strong Python knowledge base. Please note on the resume and highlight it throughout the resume. This project is deep in the server side and Database
There will be 2 rounds of interviews. They will interview the person using Coderpad in Python
The team sits in Santa Monica/CA - They prefer West Coast-based candidates at this time
They are distributed in scrum teams - Working with the engineering teams through 2- or 3-week sprints supporting 4 or 5 engineers
