Responsibilities
Applies engineering and technical principles to the design and development of computer networks, cyber security infrastructure, telecommunications, information technology systems and tools, and database systems.
Analyzes, installs, integrates, modifies, and supports all associated systems, networks, software, and databases.
Plans and conducts projects after analysis of functional and operational requirements.
May consult with and lead cross-functional teams.

Required
BS/BA and 5 years of relevant experience -OR-
MS/MA or higher and 3 years of relevant experience -OR-
PhD and 1 year of relevant experience -OR-
AA and 14 years of relevant experience -OR-
HS/GED and 16 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated experience applying theoretical/fundamental computer science concepts through the design, development, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of computer infrastructure and networks

Background Investigation: Applicants selected will be subject to a federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter in accordance 10 CFR 710, Appendix B.
Drug Testing: All Security Clearance positions are Testing Designated Positions, which means that the candidate selected is subject to pre-employment and random drug testing. In addition, applicants must be able to demonstrate non-use of illegal drugs, including marijuana, for the 12 consecutive months preceding completion of the requisite Questionnaire for National Security Positions (QNSP).
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance.
Preferred
Experience in system administration with RHEL Ubuntu/AWS Linux.
Experience with Linux system monitoring and task management.
Experience with authentication schemes that support Linux.
Demonstrated Python/PowerShell experience deploying Infrastructure services as code (IaC} Experience delivering projects via Agile methodologies.
Experience running Satellite and Landscape servers.
IT Infrastructure experience in an enterprise setting, including demonstrated O&M experience (Linux/Unix based applications, backup/recovery strategies, advanced troubleshooting, patching, hardening, etc.) Experience with Ansible/Terraform IT Automation tools.
AWS I Azure/ GCP experience.
Automated Microsost ARC/Defender and Nessus deployment experience Support of GPU and other scientific hardware.
