Responsibilities

Execute Process Safety programs in a process facility subject to OSHA 29CFR1910.119.

Participate in facilitates Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) studies.

Conduct investigations into safety violations and incidents.

Maintain action tracking and KPI development for risk reduction.

Participate in the Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-Start Safety Review (PSSR) processes.

Manage and oversee the Industrial Hygiene Program.

Assist with safety management systems and audits.

Required

B.S. in an Engineering discipline with Chemical Engineering highly preferred

3+ years of experience in Chemical Manufacturing environment to include ESH, operations, and/or maintenance-related activities

Ability to work effectively engage and collaborate with all levels in the organization

Preferred

Skilled in HAZOP/What-If, Root Cause, FMEA, Event Tree, Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA)

Provides consultation to technical resources according to Curtis Bay Business Area to assure the evergreen availability of all Process Safety Information, as defined in OSHA 29CFR1910.119

High level of personal motivation, with a drive for ownership and accountability in performance of job responsibilities

Ability to lead teams in a manner that encourages collaboration, focus, and energy
