Responsibilities

Loading market data from various providers and transferring data between SQL Servers and different file structures.

Assisting with internal ETL work and suggesting improvements.

Providing ETL support on unstructured documents and data files from financial firms.

Aiding in data transfer to the operational data store and data warehouse from different databases.

Designing, testing, and deploying advanced SQL Server database solutions using Microsoft Azure and SQL Server tools in a DevOps environment.

Providing development and analytical support for the data warehouse using SQL Server databases and SSIS packages.

Using version management tools like TFS/Git/GitHub/Azure DevOps with an agile methodology.

Communicating effectively with peers and superiors to drive deliverables.

Completing other assigned duties as required.

Ensuring compliance with RoundPoint's commitments.

Required

3 or more years of experience with ETL tools and technologies.

Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or related field of study.

Extensive knowledge with:

SSIS

SQL

SSRS

SQL Server 2016-2022

Strong understanding of database concepts and design and desire to stay up to date on best practices.

Ability to collaborate effectively and respectfully across diverse audiences and teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
