Responsibilities

Plans, develops, coordinates, and reviews architectural work on a medium-sized project or assignment in support of a global business unit. Coordinates and interfaces with the day-to-day technical work of personnel.

Develops conceptual designs for architectural projects or projects with specialized or unique architectural requirements.

Supports preparation of estimates, staffing needs, and schedules.

Prepares discipline estimates and work plans, reviews and approves key engineering drawings and calculations, bid summaries, and more.

Interprets new regulations, codes, standards, and performance data.

Coordinates with client representatives, reviews and approves key design documents, and mentors architectural personnel.

Provides on-the-job training for professional development.

Required

Requires a degree in architecture and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience

A license to practice architecture from a recognized licensing board

Broad knowledge of industry/regulatory codes and standards and design criteria pertinent to the discipline, knowledge of design applicable safety, health, environmental regulations

Experience in resolving complex technical problems and the ability to articulate explanations

Excellent listening, oral, and written communication, planning, and organizational skills

Prior experience in planning and executing greenfield or brownfield projects in one or more of the following market segments: Semiconductor, Electric Vehicle, Battery, or Data Center

Working knowledge of Revit and Navisworks

Previous experience preparing estimated quantities, job hour estimates, and schedule planning

Working knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC)
