Responsibilities

Assist in architecting and refining ephemeral cloud environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), focusing on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Support the maintenance and optimization of Kubernetes clusters for transient workloads and integration with continuous delivery pipelines.

Enhance containerization and orchestration methodologies, emphasizing automation for scalability and reliability.

Collaborate in developing and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure, including coding, scripting, and automating tasks.

Participate in cross-functional efforts to establish best practices and elevate the quality of cloud solutions.

Required

Concentrated experience in cloud engineering, with a robust portfolio that includes working on ephemeral or stateless environments.

Skills in software development, with proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Go, Python, or Java.

Experience in containerization tools like Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes, enriched by hands-on use of Helm, Kustomize, or similar.

Practical understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, with experience in tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Strong scripting abilities and experience in automating cloud-based tasks.

Solid grasp of version control with git, and experience in building and maintaining CI/CD workflows.

Strong coding skills and experience in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code for cloud infrastructure tasks.
