Responsibilities

Work with SMEs to customize and create application solutions in environments like Business Intelligence, Business Objects, Oracle 11g DB, Windows Server 2012, etc.

Receive IT training and obtain necessary certifications post-training.

Research and discover solutions to problems and work with other team members on BI and Database-related activities.

Support senior Business Intelligence (BI) technicians and collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Required

One year plus Information Technology related work experience.

Ability to receive IT training and obtain necessary certifications post-training.

Ability to be a quick learner and possess 'can-do' attitude.

Ability to perform Independently and/or in a team environment.

Ability to support senior Business Intelligence(BI) technicians.

Ability to research and discover solution to problems.

Ability to work with other team members working on Business Intelligence, Database related activities.

Ability to work with vendor Tech support (i.e. SAP, Oracle etc..)

Demonstrate problem solving, organizational and time management skills.

Sound research and analytical skills, including the ability to identify problems and formulate solutions; appropriate to current policy and communication strategies.

Proven ability to cope with and perform effectively in a demanding environment, giving close attention to detail and accuracy, while meeting tight deadlines.

Ability to continually develop and improve one’s skill and knowledge to perform effectively and adapt to change in the workplace. Development occurs through a variety of learning opportunities, seeking feedback, and individual reflection.

Making use of all personal resources at your disposal (talents, skills, energy, and time) to achieve goals.

Familiarity with application development and usage.

Clear understanding of relational database concepts.

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance

Must be a US Citizen

Education Required : Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in relevant field.

Minimum 1-2 years of related experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
