Responsibilities

Execute sales strategies to meet the company's revenue goals
Exhibit entrepreneurial capabilities to enhance and provide strategic direction for Sales Team
Develop a team that effectively manages customer relationships and application development
Manage the performance, developments, and rewards for all direct reports
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and cross-functional stakeholders
Understand customer pain points and protect and improve existing business
Negotiate and close high-value deals with major customers
Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting
Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed
Collaborate with product management, new product development and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives
Prepare regular sales reports and present findings to senior management
Use CRM software and other tools to track sales activities and performance
Other duties as needed

Required

Minimum of 10 years of experience selling fasteners or other engineered product
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering, Master’s degree preferred
Track record managing a sales team with a total sales quota of $150M or higher
Experience selling to both distributors and OEM’s (required)
Strong sales and negotiation skills with a successful sales growth track record
Strong ability to generate new business while strengthening existing relationships
Proficient with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
Experience operating within a highly structured sales environment
Proven ability to influence customers, while maintaining healthy relationships
Travel required: Must be able to travel between 50% - 75% and overnight
Ability to effectively interface with the senior management team

Preferred

Master’s degree in business administration or engineering
Experience in negotiating and closing high-value deals with major customers
