Responsibilities

Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python.

Utilize Flask or Django for web development.

Implement software engineering best practices like Design Principles, Unit Testing, and CI/CD.

Design and develop modular, reusable software components.

Create API endpoints and microservices.

Work on distributed computing systems.

Required

Must be Green Card or US Citizen

7+ years of programming experience in Python

Expertise in developing and maintaining data pipelines

Experience using Flask or Django

Experience using Angular, or other Javascript web development frameworks

Experience in software engineering practices such as Design Principles and Patterns, Unit Testing, Refactoring, CI/CD, and version control

Expertise in Object-Oriented Design Principals and Functional Programming Principals

Experience with common Python Data Engineering packages including Pandas, Numpy, Pyarrow, Pytest, Scikit-Learn, and Boto3

Experience in implementing distributed computing systems

Experience in designing modular, reusable software components

Experience in developing API endpoints and microservices

Angular: 5 years

Javascript web development: 5 years

CI/CD: 3 years

Python Data Engineering packages: 5 years

Relocate before starting work to Houston, TX 77002
