Responsibilities

Collaborate with analysts and designers to develop and initiate new software applications and tools and automate business processes.

Research, document, and implement user manuals and guidelines, as well as program requirements and specifications.

Write, translate, and code software programs, applications, scripts, testing frameworks and tools according to standards and specs.

Run and monitor performance tests on new and existing software to fix mistakes, isolate areas to improve, and general debugging.

Apply diagnostic analysis to test results and deliver solutions to critical areas.

Write programming scripts to enhance functionality and appearance of company website and web applications.

Collaborate with peers across the organization to support the delivery of new applications or processes.

Interface with industry standard database data sets such as Medispan.

Implement solutions that adhere to regulatory guidelines such as HIPAA, HITRUST or other security related compliance programs.

Participate in on-call rotations for release and product support activities.

Required

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field (In lieu of a degree, equivalent relevant hands-on experience may be considered.)

6+ years of experience in Software Engineering and Development

3+ years of experience using SQL Databases such as MS SQL, Postgres, MySQL, or similar database technologies

Experience mentoring junior team members

Experience in using Object Orient Languages such as C++, C#, or Java

Experience with Angular, or similar technologies such as React or Vue.js

Experience using tools for Software Versioning Control such as Git, SVN, Mercurial, or VSTS

Experience building Service Oriented Architecture applications, MVC, and REST API

Experience with and understanding of Object Orient Principles and Design Patterns

Experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Knowledge in containerization

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Availability for on-call hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to promptly address emergent issues or provide necessary support as dictated by operational demands
