Responsibilities
Investigates and develops solutions to complex technical problems
Identify improvements in monitored systems and communicate recommendations
Identify improvements in the monitoring platform and implement recommendations
Oversee Splunk ITSI platform
Collaborate with operations staff and technical leadership to incorporate feedback while improving the monitoring platform
Collaborate with other technical staff in the completion of significant technical projects

Required
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience working with agile collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
Experience using Splunk to monitor large scale systems
3+ years of experience monitoring and maintaining applications on a cloud platform such as AWS or Microsoft Azure
2+ years of experience maintaining monitoring, alerting, metric, and logging tools and infrastructure and building monitoring dashboards
Experience with IaC tools like Packer, Ansible, Terraform or Cloud Formation
Experience with a scripting language like Bash or Python
US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required
Ability to obtain a public trust

Experience with Amazon CloudWatch
Experience operating and configuring large multi-tenant Splunk clusters
AWS or Azure certification
