Responsibilities

Lead soil investigations for stormwater infiltration.

Prepare technical reports based on the results of soil investigations.

Conduct field inspections on stormwater BMPs during the construction phase.

Conduct percolation testing in support of on-lot sewage disposal projects.

Conduct critical stage inspections at various project sites during the construction phase.

Log geotechnical boreholes and prepare log profiles according to the United Soil Classification System (USCS).

Assist in Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Phase II subsurface investigations.

Conduct environmental field investigations (soil and groundwater sampling) using prescribed methods.

Data reduction and preparation of laboratory data.

Consult senior project staff about regulations concerning project issues; assist in researching applicable regulations.

Assist with various permit applications and specifications for project compliance needs.

Assist with conducting geophysical surveys.
