Responsibilities

Partnering with Operations to maintain safe operation of ECoat Paste processes.

Identifying and leading projects to debottleneck and/or improve cost and processes.

Providing troubleshooting support, including off-hours support, for processes to resume production during issues.

Troubleshooting and improving batch execution and related automation.

Assisting the Production Supervisor to maintain safe operation and reliability of the plant.

Communicating processes and requirements to site personnel and as part of projects.

Providing technical guidance and root cause analysis facilitation for investigations.

Demonstrating technical responsibility for all plant trials in ECoat Paste.

Delivering solutions for recurring process issues.

Required

Possess a bachelors in chemical engineering.

Have 5+ years experience in chemical production facility.

Lean/Six Sigma experience and/or certification required.

5+ years of experience in manufacturing required.

Have excellent computer skills and DeltaV automation knowledge.

Are familiar with process equipment and instrumentation.

Have solid problem-solving skills, experience in root cause failure analysis. Solid continuous improvement expertise.

Have a strong understanding of Process Safety Concepts and their applications and familiarity with EHS procedures/standards, including PSM.

Have excellent communication skills and interpersonal understanding. Able to work well as an individual contributor while collaborating cross-functionally.
