Responsibilities
Collaborate with product development team to plan new features.
Participate in planning and scoping meetings for future projects.
Collaborating with the design team
Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas
Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas
Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications
Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures
Identifying quality issues and creating test reports
Writing test cases for new and existing products functionality
Troubleshoot, debug, resolve product issues as they arise.
Maintain documentation of test results; analyze test results.
Stay current with new technology trends.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar field; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Previous experience working as a QA Automation Engineer
Programming skills including automation systems
Familiarity with programming script languages
Demonstrated ability to work with databases
Excellent analytical skills
Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Preferred
Experience working with CI tools to monitor test automation such as Gitlab
Experience writing tests with Selenium, or other relevant tools
Experience with API’s using Postman, or comparable tools
Working knowledge using (bug tracking) in Jira, Bugzilla, or similar tools
Working knowledge of performance and scalability testing such as JMeter, LoadUI, etc
Experience working with databases such as MongoDB, or SQL
Experience working on an Agile/Scrum development team
Ability to identify, own, and solve problems independently or as part of a team
