Responsibilities
Operating single or multiple CNC laser cutting machines, including loading raw material and ensuring quality by maintaining focal point adjustment, feed rate, power, and other parameters.
Ensuring machine optics are maintained by performing tests and procedures, including tape shots, lens focusing, lens cleaning, nozzle cleaning, and replacement of any worn items.
Labeling finished parts accurately and delivering them to designated areas.
Monitoring laser operations to ensure the machine is functioning properly and safely; recording machine code errors and communicating performance issues to the supervisor.
Using inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
Deburring and cleaning parts.
Maintaining quality, productivity, and safety records.
Maintaining supplies and performing regular preventive maintenance.
Assisting other operators with operating, inspecting, and cleaning machines and parts.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the work area.
Complying with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
Ensuring sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Required
Minimum Of 2 Years Of CNC Operating Experience
Knowledge of CNC laser-cutting operations
Ability to read a tape measure and micrometer
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good time management skills
Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines
Team-oriented and collaborative
LOTO certification required
Crane operation certification required
Forklift operation certification required
Preferred
High school graduate or equivalent
