Responsibilities
Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance program specific to product design. Define quality standards, guidelines, and best practices for the design team. Ensure adherence to quality processes throughout the product development lifecycle.
Team Leadership and Management: Lead a team of quality assurance professionals, including analysts and testers. Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to team members. Foster a culture of quality excellence within the design organization.
Design Validation and Testing: Establish robust testing methodologies for design elements, prototypes, and final products. Conduct thorough design reviews to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues. Collaborate with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to address quality gaps.
Quality Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain quality assurance documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports. Generate regular quality reports for management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor design quality metrics and KPIs. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate overall design quality.
Risk Management: Assess design-related risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Collaborate with product managers to prioritize quality-related issues. Implement preventive measures to minimize design defects.

Required
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related field.
10+ years of experience in the QA, software development and test automation field
3+ years of management experience in the software, QA, and test automation field
Azure or AWS cloud infrastructure experience
Experience with full-stack products from hardware & firmware through the application and integration with partner products.
Experience with test automation platforms
Ability to travel up to 10%
Preferred
Master's in engineering or related field.
