Responsibilities

Work with shop floor management to identify process breakdowns, potential failure modes and drive continuous improvement activities

Drive the design for manufacturability and production readiness agenda throughout the design and verification phases

Focus department efforts on accurate, effective, and timely process documentation

Serve as the systems manufacturing engineering lead for process-related failures with the customer

Ensure timely processing of any product non-conformances found at incoming inspection or in-process

Escalate recurring problems with Supply Quality and Purchasing

Partner with the service team to participate in failure analysis activities, compile data, and reduce process failure modes

Support product safety factory compliance requirements

Other duties as required

Manufacturing EngineeringMedical Devices

Required

BS. in a manufacturing, mechanical, or electromechanical engineering

6+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role

Experience in Medical Devices strongly preferred

Preferred

Graduate degree in a technical field or management is a plus
