Responsibilities
Assemble data for state reporting, grant reporting, and other requirements
Coordinate input of data into the student information system and validate integrity of data
Work with the student information system vendor to ensure system configuration meets district needs
Collect, integrate, and summarize assessment and demographic data to support district initiatives
Create user-friendly databases for collecting district data
Maintain zone codes and attendance area data in district databases
Maintain accurate records of data-related projects
Provide data to district staff as requested pending approval of the Director Assessment
Provide technical support to district staff performing related work
Stay up-to-date on current database technologies and state reporting requirements
Maintain the functionality of existing databases developed by the Office of Accountability
Support the preparation of data into the district data warehouse
Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned or delegated by the Director of Assessment or Superintendent

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent combination of Associate’s degree and experience
Strong Microsoft Access skills
Ability to create and edit Excel formulas
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience in assembling data for reporting
Demonstrated skills in written and oral communication
Satisfactory work record & criminal/child abuse clearances (Acts 34 and 151)
Preferred
Experience creating databases with Microsoft Access front end and SQL back end
VBA and SQL programming skills
SPSS statistical analysis skills
