Responsibilities
Understand the client's data landscape and project roadmap to create impactful reports, dashboards, user-interfaces, and data visualizations using Power BI.
Collaborate with the Business Intelligence and Enterprise Data Warehouse team, as well as key business executives and stakeholders at Bristol Farms/Lazy Acres.
Scale the BI program by taking on increasing levels of responsibility as business needs evolve.
Utilize technical skills, business acumen, and creativity to optimize data visualization and reporting.
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff, providing updates to management and stakeholders.
Build strong internal partnerships and contribute to a positive work environment.

Required
5+ years of experience of developing and implementing Power BI solutions, including modelling, design, development and testing of data visualization
3+ years of experience specifically in Power BI Cloud Services, Data Analysis (DAX), Power Query (M) for ETL, SQL (or other data extraction and integration tools)
3+ years of experience writing SQL and shaping data with Power Query to optimize for performance in the BI presentation layer
Solid understanding of DAX with significant experience coding complex DAX expressions and performance optimization
Experience working in an Agile project delivery model
Ability to communicate clearly in conversation and in presentations to both technical and non-technical staff and to provide updates to all levels of management and stakeholders
Develops strong internal partnerships and contributes to a positive and collaborative work environment. Builds trust and respect through dependability, organization and follow through.
Preferred
Experience with AWS Redshift, AWS Workspace, ERP and Oracle Finance
Power BI Paginated report experience
Microsoft Power BI certifications or AWS certifications are an asset
Prior industry experience in retail merchandising or grocery retail
Must be willing to come into the office 1-2 days a week
Retail experience (ideally grocery retail)
