Responsibilities
Set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for tests, research, or process control
Perform a variety of quality, customized tests to analyze materials for strength, stability, purity, and other characteristics
Organize and maintain the test lab
Safely operate tools such as a band saw, grinder, sander, polisher, and mounting machinery
Maintain detailed records of test results
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

Required
US Citizenship required
High school diploma or GED required
Willingness to learn
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills

The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to stand, sit, or move around for prolonged periods of time
Preferred
Mechanically inclined individuals preferred
Experience working with blueprints preferred
