Responsibilities

Develop Complex ETL and Analytics Programs using SQL, Store Procedures, and various query tools.

Maintain SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages for the ETL process using Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or later.

Analyze client requirements and design technical solutions based on those requirements.

Troubleshoot issues related to QA and Production environments.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team.

Participate in Client meetings and lead technical review meetings as required.

Ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, etc.) in all aspects of data utilization and information access.

Stay updated on new security threats and mitigation approaches.

Ensure all proposed changes follow the Change Management policy and procedure for production changes.

Required

Four-year degree in Computer Science/Information Technology

Minimum eight years working as a SQL Database engineer

Minimum of five years SSIS experience

Thorough understanding of database structures, theories, principles, & practices

Ability to write & troubleshoot SQL code & design stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, & constraints

Extensive knowledge of MS SQL Server 2012 or later

Extensive knowledge with SSRS\SSIS\TSql

Experience with C# and\or VB.NET

Technical knowledge of MS SQL Server internals with emphasis on query performance

Knowledge and know-how to troubleshoot potential issues; experience with best practices around database operations

Project Management Experience required

Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical and non-technical concepts to peers, customers, and management

Must be capable of routinely making effective and timely decisions in alignment with departmental direction and based on sound business knowledge and industry best practices

Require ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to multi-task with several complex and demanding Projects
