Responsibilities
Research, write, edit, and manage a wide range of communications materials (e.g., articles, blogs, brochures, campaign plans, fact sheets, flyers, video scripts, social media posts) within stringent deadlines.
Ensure all deliverables meet audience and platform tone requirements, aligning with communication priorities.
Collaborate with other writers to interview sources, develop informative content reflecting key messages, and ensure accuracy in copy for distribution.
Conceptualize themes, messaging, and distribution strategies for marketing materials, overseeing tasks to meet deadlines.
Consult with web developers to create and update website content.
Gather, analyze, fact-check, and interpret information from diverse sources to inform content and campaign strategies.
Prepare client-ready materials for stakeholders, including leadership.
Schedule, lead, and participate in regular meetings.
Develop and implement content calendars.
Write, review, and edit content in adherence to AP style and other guidelines.
Ensure stylistic and formatting consistency across all documents.
Plan and execute initiatives through multiple channels (e.g., social media, email, TV) to reach target audiences effectively.
Assist in analyzing marketing data (e.g., campaign results, conversion rates, traffic) to shape future strategies.

Required
2 to 5 years of relevant experience in strategic communications, marketing, public relations, or content development.
Bachelor's degree in mass communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
Consulting experience supporting large, complex federal agencies (e.g., Department of Veterans Affairs).
Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Experience in communications, research, writing, and editing.
Proficiency in organizing and presenting information clearly.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize assignments, and make informed decisions.
