Responsibilities
Develop and execute the strategy for building and managing new federal government products, considering the operational constraints and advantages of a small business.
Manage a new product development team, establishing effective workflows and fostering a collaborative environment.
Define the product development SDLC in alignment with NIST 800-218.
Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify needs within the federal sector.
Engage with federal clients to ensure product solutions align with government requirements.
Craft and prioritize detailed product roadmaps and feature definitions.
Manage the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and scope.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.
Utilize feedback and performance metrics post-launch to refine product offerings and enhance future development efforts.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and/or equivalent experience
At least 3 years of experience in product management, preferably with experience in developing products for the federal market
Demonstrated ability to successfully build and lead a product team from the ground up
Project Management expertise resulting in successfully managing product development within budgetary and schedule constraints
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating teams and managing stakeholder relationships
Strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and a track record of working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
