Responsibilities
Drives the design and scale-up of processes, instruments, and equipment from laboratory to manufacturing
Supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of process methods and equipment for production and improved product quality
Implements the development of new process formulas, establishes operating equipment specifications, and may improve manufacturing techniques and new process equipment production
Collaborates across functions to ensure processes and designs are compatible
Participates with other team members on department plans and objectives
Performs analysis, data review, and documentation
Works flexible hours, including weekends
Performs other functions as required or assigned
Complies with all company policies and standards

Required
Bachelor's degree in related life sciences with minimum of 3 years or MS in related life sciences with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience
Occasionally requirements of climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and stoop
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English fluently
Extensive time in laboratories is required
Standard office environment for deskwork
Significant amount of time doing computer work (reading, writing, reviewing, and editing documents)
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
