Responsibilities
Oversight of approximately 20 scripts per week including assigning, reviewing, and editing scripts.
Managing fact checking and editing pipelines, ensuring consistency in tone and structure.
Optimizing scripts for audience retention and staying updated on emerging trends in similar genres.

Required
Prior editing experience, though it does not necessarily have to have been for animation or YouTube.
Very strong writing skills since you will be responsible for editing scripts written by others to conform to a certain voice.
Capacity to effectively share feedback with people.
Strong understanding of digital video production processes.
Enthusiasm around viewer engagement and retention; making sure they stick around and come back for more.
Extensive knowledge of and active use of social media platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Facebook.
Ability to make quick decisions and to know how best to tell stories.
Capability to work well under tight deadlines.
Stickler for detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Ability to relate comfortably to a wide range of people, on the phone and online.
