Responsibilities
Develop detailed project plans based on supplier manufacturing plans, internal manufacturing plans, logistics processing time, quality control and testing, customer inspection, and billing
Assign duties or responsibilities to project personnel and lead cross-functional teams through all phases of project lifecycles
Review production schedules to ensure deadlines are met and work is progressing steadily
Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products meeting contract quality standards
Develop strong partnerships with the engineering team to manage Technical Data Packages and other engineering processes
Ensure customer requirements are met and manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication
Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems
Create program and project status presentations for delivery to stakeholders, leadership, and project personnel
Facilitate the creation of a repeatable project plan and checklist for new strategic stocking partnerships
Implement and manage risk registers across licensing open orders
Monitor project team performance and provide feedback
Prepare project-related communications for distribution to employees, clients, and suppliers

Required
Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Adobe Acrobat
Project management software such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar tool
Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
Proven track record of successful project delivery from start to finish
Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems – preferably Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
Strong communication and presentation skills, problem-solving abilities, and leadership talent necessary to drive positive outcomes of manufacturing projects
Foundational understanding of finance/project finance to make informed decisions that affect the financial health of a project
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or related field
5+ years’ experience in an aerospace manufacturing or engineering environment, with 2+ years in project management
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
Preferred
Background in continuous improvement process implementation/management
Knowledge of Quality Assurance or Quality Maintenance System Management
