Responsibilities
Working closely with Learning and Civic Engagement department staff to develop and facilitate inquiry-based conversation programs about the High's collection and special exhibitions.
Designing and facilitating onsite professional learning seminars for PreK-12 educators that highlight curricular connections between the museum's collections and special exhibitions and the classroom.
Co-developing, preparing for, and facilitating studio workshops for a variety of audiences, including researching museum collections, developing lesson plans, and providing technical instruction in the studios.
Attending annual teaching intensive series in August and monthly professional development meetings to expand teaching skills and knowledge of museum audiences.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Art History, Studio Art, Museum Education, or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in museum education, studio art instruction, or related field
Experience working with diverse audiences, including older adults, individuals with disabilities, and PreK-12 students
Ability to facilitate inquiry-based conversations and art-making activities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Availability to work part-time, up to 32 hours per week, based on program demand and individual availability
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Must attend annual teaching intensive series in August and monthly professional development meetings
Preferred
Master's degree in Art Education, Art History, Studio Art, Museum Education, or related field
Experience in developing and facilitating professional learning seminars for educators
Experience in developing and facilitating studio workshops for diverse audiences
Familiarity with museum collections and exhibitions
Experience in classroom curriculum development
