Responsibilities

Create and deploy new software modules and interfaces in an Agile software development environment.

Configure and maintain software components, collaborating with a diverse project team.

Interact with technical and non-technical personnel to deliver technical solutions for USCIS mission.

Required

Minimum 5 years of enterprise full stack software engineering experience

Experience with Java (w/Spring), Java/Spring Boot, or React

Knowledge of cloud native technologies and apps hosted in Cloud environments ie AWS, Azure etc.

Ability to pick up new languages and technologies quickly

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical people and effectively communicate current activities

Highly motivated, detail oriented and extremely organized self-starter

Ability to establish priorities and execute to achieve results

Ability to work independently and to respond quickly to change

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study

Minimum Years of Overall Experience: 5

Minimum Years of Specific Experience in Field: 5

Minimum Clearance to Start: Public Trust

Work Status Allowable: US Citizenship

Preferred

Desired Certification(s): Agile certs, Cloud Certifications (AWS, Azure, Google)
