Responsibilities
Assist the Crew Chief in completing the crew's assigned field survey or utility locating projects.
Use underground utility locating equipment and dig test holes to measure the depth of underground utilities.
Perform heavy physical labor including digging test holes, operating equipment like Vac Truck Equipment, jackhammer, pogo-tamper, concrete saw, etc.
Perform daily basic maintenance on equipment.
Be cross-trained in surveying and support survey crews when needed.

Required
Highschool education or GED
Must be able and willing to perform heavy labor.
Ability to work outside in extreme heat and weather.
Valid drivers license and ability to pass an MVR check.
Travel required, possibly extensive travel up to 5 days during the week.
Overtime required, as needed.
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
Preferred
Previous Utility locating or survey experience is a plus.
