Responsibilities

Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of software engineers responsible for product development of our flagship Intelligent Vegetation Management System (IVMS) product

Drive the development and maintenance of the system's long-term architecture in alignment with business objectives and industry best practices

Build the long-term technical roadmap, oversee design reviews, and champion continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and process optimization

Design and implement processes to achieve engineering and operational excellence, including production monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis (RCA)

Establish and enforce SLAs for incident resolution, ensuring timely closure and the prevention of future incidents

Required

13-15+ years of experience in B2B SaaS organizations, leading full-stack or backend teams in high-growth, fast-paced environments, with 2+ years managing managers

Experience in building, coaching, and developing high-performing teams; setting clear, measurable goals aligned with company objectives; and implementing robust performance management practices

Proven track record of building scalable system architectures, conducting design reviews, and hands-on experience with modern development frameworks and tools in scalable setups

Hands-on experience with Java backend stack

Experience in leading teams in React, iOS, and Android frontend stacks

Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, microservices, and DevOps practices

First principles thinker with high ownership, humility, and strong ability to influence decisions through data-driven insights

Preferred

Experience in building geospatial applications
