Responsibilities

Build, manage and lead a team of 5-7 engineers and associated agile rituals like standups, planning, and retrospectives.
Align the team around product OKRs/KPIs to drive joint focus.
Work with product managers and designers to build new product features for a customer-facing data platform.
Report on project statuses to the company.
Perform peer code reviews to ensure well-tested and maintainable code production.
Evangelize software development best practices within the team.
Actively develop with proper test coverage.
Support and optimize the critical production environment.

Required

5+ years of experience building web applications (bonus points for early stage environment and 0-1 products)
2-3 years of experience leading/managing engineering teams
Ability to write clean, well-designed, and scalable code.
First-hand professional experience with Ruby on Rails, GraphQL and/or React.
Experience building products that work with clinical data, including a strong understanding of medical terminology, healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR), and interoperability challenges
Desire to work in a collaborative environment: interactions with the leadership team, product managers, and customer success teams.
Knowledge of full-stack development.
