Responsibilities

Leverage your experience in backend and frontend related technologies to create high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code and APIs

Employ your understanding of developer tools to influence the development of user-centric features that address the needs and pain points of data scientists and engineers

Contribute to architectural decisions and participate in code and design reviews, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance

Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and bias towards making an impact and picking up work that needs to get done

Work as part of a team and feel most excited when given large and ambiguous problems to solve independently

Required

4+ years of professional experience building software as a generalist, working across the frontend, and backend

Prior experience working at a startup or as part of a small team

Experience with React and its core principles

Experience with TypeScript or Javascript

Experience with Python, Go, Java or another backend technology

Knowledge of ML concepts and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Pytorch, Spark)

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience
