Responsibilities

Technical production of design and construction documents

Spatial planning, ergonomics, and selection of interior furnishings and materials

Required

5+ years of design experience, architecture firm experience a plus

Knowledge of spatial planning, ergonomics, and interior furnishings and materials

Understanding of relevant codes such as state building codes, FGI Healthcare Guidelines, NFPA, IBC, ANSI 117.1, BOMA

Proficiency with graphics software such Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and/or other 3D imaging software preferred

Possession of a strong moral and ethical responsibility to the principles of sustainability

Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills

Strong design, graphic, and presentation skills

Understanding of the design and procurement processes

Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree from a CIDA-accredited interior design program or equivalent field of study

A cover letter, resume and portfolio demonstrating Revit skills and rendering abilities are required

Preferred

NCIDQ Certification preferred

LEED Accreditation is a plus
