Responsibilities
Provides technical guidance and training to design and engineering personnel.
Oversees operational processes, departmental goals, and budget preparation.
Reviews and approves design specifications, commissioning plans, and facility design guidelines.
Develops and evaluates criteria for equipment and technical maintenance service providers.
Defines and refines asset maintenance plans through Reliability Centered Maintenance.
Leads capital plans and troubleshooting of operational problems and technical issues.

Required
Bachelor's Degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university
Ten (10) years of related experience
Comprehensive understanding of relevant engineering principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices and standards and their application
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Ability to adapt to and deal with change and ambiguity
Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines
Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD files, 3D models and sketches
Ability to solve problems and identify solutions
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization
Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area
Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements related to areas of functional responsibility
Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in maintenance and repair
Familiarity with Building Management Systems; Utility and/or Electrical monitoring systems; SCADA systems; and Enterprise Asset Management System (BMS) or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) systems
Familiarity with the interdisciplinary nature of healthcare operations
CADL - California Drivers License - Valid And In State required
Preferred
Master of Science degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university
CMRP - Certified Maintenance And Reliability
Certified Reliability Engineer
Certified Reliability Leader
Professional Engineer (PE) License
