Responsibilities
Lead and manage small-to-medium scale projects from initiation through closure; develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and communication plans.
Act as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders, develop project dashboards, and communicate project status updates.
Identify, document, and adhere to project requirements, financial management, and delivery; engage in resource capacity planning and allocation.
Collaborate with resource managers to ensure necessary project resources are available and allocated optimally.
Oversee and manage multiple projects within the IS Department simultaneously.
Plan change management tasks, work on advancing the maturity of the PMO, and support the creation of templates and guidelines.
Assess and enhance project management processes, methodologies, and tools within the PMO.
Mentor and guide junior project managers, coordinate project team efforts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with PMO guidelines.
Provide support to IS and other departments to ensure compliance with PMO guidelines, procedures, and work instructions.

Required
Bachelor's degree in business management, management information services (MIS), health, or a related field
Project Management Institute (PMI) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification
Three years' proven experience as a project manager, preferably in a role within a PMO, with program, project, and/ or portfolio management at the organizational level and reporting to senior leadership
Three years' experience using delivery methodologies and/ or tools
Three years' experience managing organizational projects
Three years' experience writing business requirements and driving change management initiatives across an organization
Familiarity with various project management methodologies, including experience in Agile and Waterfall development methodologies, and ability to assess the best project management methodology for successful project delivery
Strong computer and technical skills, including advanced expertise with the Microsoft Suite of software, specifically Project Professional, Project Web Application, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Outlook, as well as a demonstrated aptitude for learning new specialized software tools
Strong professional, interpersonal, customer service, and oral communication skills with all levels of staff and management
Preferred
Master's degree in business management, management information services (MIS), health, or a related field
Five years' project management experience in business operations, MIS, health, or a related field
Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Program Management Professional (PgMP), or another relevant credible credential (e.g., Prosci Organizational Change Management (CCP), Association of Change Management Professionals Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Risk Management Professional (RMP), etc.)
