Responsibilities
Conduct multiple projects simultaneously from feasibility to post-launch quality assessment.
Maintain customer contact to communicate quality requirements throughout the organization.
Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEA) and advanced quality planning activities.
Develop, implement, and maintain Statistical Process Control techniques.
Develop, implement, and maintain accurate inspection systems and sampling techniques.
Function as a leader of other quality associates and conduct performance appraisals.
Monitor and revise quality documentation as required.
Assure compliance of the documented quality system and promote consistency throughout the organization.
Participate in the establishment and implementation of quality methodology within the organization.
Monitor inspection results and process control to ensure production meets customer specifications.
Represent the voice of the customer to assure compliance with customer requirements.
Compile contents and assure compliance with customer requirements for all initial production part submissions.
Adhere to corporate policies and safety regulations.
Commit to team and corporate goals, mission, and vision.
Visit customers and suppliers when necessary.
Submit one Continuous Improvement Program idea (CIP) per quarter.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Technical Discipline or equivalent experience
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong working knowledge with Automotive Industry Quality Systems (ISO/IATF 16949)
Experience in inspection techniques and metrology
Proven problem-solving ability
Solid blueprint reading skills including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Sound knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
Strong analytical, technical, and computer literacy skills
Ability to effectively interact with associates at all levels
Must satisfy quality standards
Can clearly communicate orally and in writing
Manifests non-violent behavior
Uses clear independent thinking
Has regular attendance
Must start work on time
Must work the scheduled shift
Must conform to current environmental standards
Must participate in annual training to update and document job-related skills
Lifting up to 35 pounds
Ability to operate standard office equipment
Operate a computer keyboard 4 hours or more per day
Reading computer screens, documents, measuring equipment, and blueprints
Voice communication and telephone
