Responsibilities

Provide first and second-level support to oil and gas clients using FlowCal software for measurement and allocation

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software functionality, data validation, and measurement discrepancies within the context of oil and gas operations

Assist clients with software installation, configuration, and upgrades specific to hydrocarbon measurement

Configure FlowCal software to meet specific oil and gas measurement requirements including setting up measurement points, defining data validation rules, and customizing reports

Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure the software remains up-to-date and functional in the context of oil and gas measurement

Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve software bugs and enhance functionality relevant to the oil and gas industry

Create and maintain detailed documentation of support activities including issue resolution, configuration changes, and client communications with a focus on oil and gas measurement

Generate reports and dashboards to monitor software performance and client usage patterns within the oil and gas sector

Develop user guides, FAQs, and training materials to assist oil and gas clients in using the software effectively

Required

5 years experience and/or domain knowledge in Measurement

Strong quantitative or technical background with an excellent aptitude for analytical thinking

Aptitude for learning new software - ideally will have some basic programming experience

Good oral and written communication skills - ability to articulate issues, give presentations, and prepare formal written reports

Self-motivated and organized - able to simultaneously work on multiple assignments and to work both independently as well as in teams
