Responsibilities
Provide professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of single and multi-family projects
Ability to independently and accurately complete schematic drawings provided by the design department and compile a CD set for submittals to attain building permits.
Review drawing and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards
Provide technical guidance to support staff and review their work for quality control
Write reports and specifications, as requested
Direct, coordinate and oversee production of project design, construction documents and/or construction administration
Leads in project scope discussion, schedule review, and other requested meetings to understand tasks and deadlines applicable to the current and/future phases of the project. Coordinates scheduling and project deadlines between clients and the staff.
Establish regular client meetings and attend with appropriate team and consultants as required by contract scope.

Required
Minimum of 10 years’ of residential experience within the industry
Advanced understanding of national, state and local building codes
In depth knowledge of various housing product types, code requirements, and construction practices. Understand how to efficiently apply, detail, and specify
Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
Excellent problem solver and independent thinker with good listening skills and strong follow-through
Self-confident while maintaining positive working relationships with clients, outside consultants, and technical staff
Advanced understanding and proficiency using the following software: AutoCAD and/or Revit, and Microsoft Office
Preferred
Registered Architect
4-year accredited Architectural degree
