Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage regional safety programs to prevent accidents, injuries, and illnesses.
Conduct comprehensive safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
Investigate safety incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Provide safety training on hazard identification, risk assessment, safe work procedures, and emergency response protocols.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA) across all regional operations.
Maintain accurate safety documentation, including incident reports and training records.
Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and employees to promote a safe work environment.
Conduct safety awareness campaigns and initiatives to foster a culture of safety.
Drive manager and supervisor ownership of safety culture and employee participation.

Required
Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health (OSH), Safety Science, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a safety professional role, preferably within a similar industry.
Advanced Certification preferred, CSP, ASP, CIH.
Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive safety programs.
Strong understanding of relevant safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Ability to travel regionally as needed.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
